For this workshop we looked at statistics but
with fairy tales, I chose to do goldilocks and the three bears. In illustrator I
created 3 seen. This artwork was simple this is so it gives a clean crisp
image and doesn't over complicate things, and can tell a small part of the
story.
Once I had created the artboards in illustrator
I moved in to after effects. For this I needed to animate each section separately
in different compositions, three of them at 3 seconds each and the final one at
10 seconds all of them in the standard 25 frame rate. I then animated the 3
seen. During this lesson I was show how to create a tilt shift although was not
a necessary requirement for this piece of work, and as it did not suit mine I chose
to leave it out.
The idea for this short animation is to
combine two animations/ compositions together or in my case three, with a seamless
moment of two things moving together I chose to create the appearance of pair
of curtains being closed and the opened so it would show the next frame.
Over all I am pleased with how this turned
out there are just some timing issues, and there is always room for improvement.
