Social media.
Since facebook launched in 2004, since then social media has evolved into a phenomenon that has changed the way the world communicates. It has give a voice to some many people who are able share there opinions and voices the concerns by using there mobile phone.There has also been a dramatic impact to the world, it has helped spark the Arab Spring- a democratic civil uprising in the middle east. Thanks to social media platforms such as facebook and twitter people were able to protest and raise awareness in the face of repression.
Today there are more than 1.3 billion facebook users. Twitter has more than 270 million active users which send out more than 500 million tweets. Youtube has over 4 billion videos viewed every day and over 60 million photos are uploaded to instagram.
In the future the global use of social media will grow and In just four years, eMarketer projects it will nearly double by 32.7 percent. By then 2.44 billion of the world's population will be on social networks.
My question is what happens to the thing we share when we are gone, will they continue to be stored on the sites?
