Creative Writing- Canarie Toddlers

Most toddlers have it easy than others, the ones that don't happen to be crossed with canaries that is, and yes you read that correctly canaries. Now you would expect this to be an advantage as we are extremely advanced for own human age, and not to mention we can fly. Which is pretty amazing, trust me. You would really think we have it all, wouldn't you, but we had a problem no ordinary child had to go through.

We were hunted, captured and locked away all because we are different. This is not the ideal way to spend your first 2 to 3 years on this planet. So we were held captive for 39 days 22 hours and 16 minutes by the UN (FCC) Until we managed to escape. Now this was the easiest part of our journey. The UN (FCC) really underestimated our intelligence so it seriously was the easiest thing I have ever done. All we had to do was carefully carefully destroy the cages with our GIANT wings.

Now here's where it became difficult as we can often attract a lot of attention. I do believe we would walk but our wings are about 2 times bigger than our bodies and  well that makes it difficult to flying is the easy option but that draw too most attention. We tended to stick to forest and only travel at night but this became hard as there is not many inhabited places in this part of the world. It seems this world is not for us but were to go…..

MARS! It seems perfect! its uninhabited so its perfect for 132 toddler-canaries. Creating the space shuttle was simple, it was amazing, it was like something out of a sic fi film. The only major problem, well at least for me a lot of the others didn't seem to mind, was the space nappy! IT’S NOT A GOOD LOOK! I mean we are mentally advanced for our age, like we built a spaceship that more that some adults achieve in a lifetime! But we still can't seem to understand the concept of toilet.

So here we go, blasting off in to the unknown the uncharted, the unexplored. We were full of such excitement, such hope. It was perfect for us for once we felt as if we had home. Fast forward three years to now and we are still a space, still traveling to out destination. No one told us mars is around 10 years away, 10 years! This is literally the worst possible thing in the world, well galaxy. We are growing too big seats and this shuttle but on the plus side those space nappies have gone, yes we are free from the nappy! All ways look for them positives.
